Nic Kostouros –
London-based integrated
Art & Creative Director.
Born and raised in a small town, it all started when my family planned for me to get a job at the local video store after High School. Look, I appreciate film as much as the next person, but we all see how that would’ve worked out for me.
Becoming a career creative has allowed me to discover different world’s, given me the power to change mine and the opportunity to impact others.
I’ve since worked on multinational accounts and smaller start-ups, spent time at large award-winning global network agencies but have preferred assisting smaller independent agencies compete with them.
Most recently being instrumental in growing an independent agency to triple its size whilst getting into the creative ranking top 5 total creative agencies list in Africa 4 years in a row.
I have been recognised at the industry’s major award shows and have ranked #1 Creative Director in Africa and Middle East at The One Show Awards in New York, as well as #1 Creative Director in an Independent Agency at the London International Awards for the same region, and the most awarded Creative Director in Africa at the D&AD awards in 2023, whilst consistently winning top honours and accolades in local award shows like The Loerie Awards and IAB Bookmarks, winning Digital Creative Director Of The Year at the IAB Bookmarks in 2022.
My love for new things often comes through in my work, whilst I look to constantly learn about different crafts, technology and human behaviours. This allows me to be many things within the industry I love as a communicator, whilst continuously growing as a creative, leader and person.
